Covid safety: How we’re keeping our customers safe

After a difficult year we are delighted to be able to welcome diners back to our award winning restaurant once again. We are serving our full menu including all of our customers’ favourites, such as our house specialities, tandoori delicacies, exclusive fish and crustacean curries and our aromatic thali selection, including vegetarian curry options.

We understand that some diners may be nervous about the further relaxation of covid-related restrictions and we would like to take this opportunity to reassure all of our customers that we here at Shapur are committed to taking the health and safety of our diners extremely seriously.

Preventing the spread of coronavirus and keeping our diners safe relies on both the efforts of our staff and the cooperation of our customers. We politely ask that anyone eating in the restaurant submits to a quick, contact free temperature check on entry and uses the NHS check in system for Test and Trace by scanning the QR code at the entrance. We also have hand sanitiser that we would like you to use before taking your seat.

Coronavirus safety measures at Shapur Indian Restaurant

On our part, we’re committed to maintaining social distancing within our restaurant and have reduced the number of available seats and tables to accommodate this. For this reason, we advise booking in advance to ensure we can seat you and your group. Please do so by calling us on 0207 384 7372

Group booking sizes need to be in line with current government guidance, which at present states that groups can be made up of up to 6 people, or two households of any size. Please understand we may ask to make sure groups larger than 6 are made up of only two households.

In line with government guidance, when customers are not seated – for example being shown to their table, or visiting the toilet – customers must wear face coverings. Our waiters will of course wear face coverings at all times.

We have also enhanced our already excellent cleaning regime and can reassure customers that all tables, seating and work surfaces are thoroughly cleaned after each use.

Our current covid safety policy for diners
